Whilst cooking in the kitchen, there are many things that we need to be aware of, especially when handling food. What comes out of the kitchen can directly affect the health of the consumers that is why we need to learn how to handle food properly. Here are some DOs and DON'Ts we need to take in mind. DOs: - Before cooking, always remember to wash your hands. This is to make sure that we will not contaminate our ingredients. - Wash your ingredients thoroughly before cooking. (Vegetables, meat and etc.) - Make sure pots and cooking tools are clean before using. - Always maintain a clean environment in the kitchen. - Store ingredients properly to avoid spoilage. - Check the expiry dates of the ingredients before purchasing.
